Product Manager - WiFi & Switching

About the Role

A Product Manager - WiFi & Switching - who will (a) manage & own the execution of the vendor’s strategies & objectives, (b) manage & own the overall revenue and GP budgets of the vendors assigned, and (c) ensure that both the internal & vendors’ channel reach objectives are consistently met.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years experience in UC / Wi-Fi / Networking product sales is required

  • Excellent understanding and implementation of MEA Sales and Channel

  • Excellent customer relationship skills within diverse geography

  • UAE Driving license and car essential.

  • Self-disciplined, highly meticulous and fully committed to achieving company goals with a strong ability to deliver within challenging timescales. The applicant should be personally highly organised and should not be afraid to take initiative and make independent decisions

Role Responsibilities

  • Develop new & existing business relationships in the channel for assigned brands; generate loyalty and growth

  • Take individual responsibility for new business, lead generation, meeting arrangements, and end-to-end conversion

  • Ensure that TLM remains proactive and responsive to prospective Partners

  • Map out industry events and tradeshows to attend; represent TLM’s business in the best possible manner to target new business leads and contacts

  • Place purchase orders to Vendors and sales orders to resellers and ensure that their execution from ordering to invoicing in complete.

  • Where necessary manage the overall inventory, including the profile, Weeks of Stocks (WoS), ageing & other assigned related metrics.

  • Oversee the trade receivables KPI & ensure the company’s best interest is prioritized at all times.

  • Oversee the execution of the Vendors’ channel development & demand generation plans and strategies.

  • Maintain & Oversee the relationship with the key strategic Partners.

  • Drive & Oversee the periodic (weekly, monthly, quarterly & yearly) planning sessions with the relevant Vendors’ stakeholders.

  • Oversee the planning & execution of the marketing plans & strategies.

  • Ensure both internal & the Vendors’ Compliance & Governance policies and guidelines are adhered to at all times.

  • Plan & Aim to maintain a leading market share position within the respective distribution landscape.

  • Ensure the Company / Team meet the technical qualifications (including all applicable certificates) set by the Vendors, as & when applicable.

  • Deliver periodic reporting on the brands’ performance both internally and to vendors as and when requested

  • Maintain an optimal strategic relationship with the Vendors’ key stakeholders at all time.

  • Design the annual sales plan in cooperation with the respective Manager.

  • Maintain full ownership of the pipeline & ensure it is validated and up to date at all times.

  • Review and evaluate the performance of the teams based on set KPIs.
