Channel Account Manager - WiFi & Networking

About the Role

TLM is looking for a great Channel Account Manager (WiFi & Networking) who will ensure that there is a significant year on year revenue and partner growth in a defined territory.

This is a partner-facing role representing TLM’s distribution and sub-distribution portfolio of WiFi & Networking brands. This role is responsible for establishing and maintaining key partner accounts to ensure sales growth.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ Years Experience in Wi-Fi, Networking, or IoT solution sales is required.

  • Excellent understanding and implementation of Channel Sales in the MENA region.

  • Customer relationship skills within diverse geography

  • UAE driving licence and car essential.

  • Self-disciplined, highly meticulous and fully committed to achieving company goals with a strong ability to deliver within challenging timescales. 

  • The ideal applicant should be personally highly organised and should not be afraid to take initiative and make independent decisions.

Role Responsibilities

Account Management & Development

o Develop new and existing business relationships in the channel to promote sales growth

o Win business with and manage key accounts; work closely with senior management to add A and B category clients to TLM’s partner program

o Take individual responsibility for new business, lead generation, meeting arrangements, and end-to-end conversion

o Ensure that TLM remains proactive and responsive to prospective Partners

o Map out industry events and tradeshows to attend; represent TLM’s business in the best possible manner to target new business leads and contacts


Sales

o Actively and successfully manage the sales process: credentials pitch; negotiation; close and handover to Sales Coordination team

o Map out a highly detailed sales pipeline on the CRM for new and repeat business; constantly push opportunities along the funnel towards conversion

o Responding to tenders and requests for information in a timely manner

o Create and be accountable for all client proposals, contracts, and any further documentation, following TLM procedure


Planning & Reporting

o Sales reporting and analysis including presenting to management a thorough understanding of partner’s objectives including their Return On Investment

o Keeping abreast of issues affecting distribution companies and the products that TLM distribute and collecting competitor intelligence
